I doubt the Trump administration is interested in doing anything “statistically significant” with these projects. I imagine they’re a play for political attention of the sort that’s pretty easy to guess and their conclusions are probably already written (they “begin with the end in mind”).
Incidentally. I just finished _Weapons of Math Destruction_. Enjoyed it. I hope it attracts an audience beyond those of us already worried about these things. Like the audience that the Trump administrations projects are intended to entertain.
