    Shame, shame, shame, Yes, this is happening. In some cases, these people actually are so blind and naïve that they do not see anything wrong. In most cases, it is intentional. Some algorithms are design to favor sets of people and disadvantage other sets of people. This is clearly wrong.

    When will we be able to force Fair Isaac to disclose their credit rating “algorithm”. We are now in the third year of a federal lawsuit in which we have demanded they disclose the “algorithm” used in their FICO score product. They continue to refuse, claiming it is “proprietary.” What we have managed to learn of it confirms our contention that it is mathematically unsound and, hence, their FICO product is flawed and its sale and use knowingly harmful.
