    As my younger daughter taught me: Everything is negotiable. That applies in many different cities, including Manhattan.

    As for online shopping, just use multiple browsers, with and without cookies, and book your best deal.

    Hi Cathy, I just finished reading Weapons of Math Destruction this week and have been seeing Big Data and potential WMD everywhere! So you can imagine the heebie-jeebies I got when I saw this article arrive in my mailbox yesterday. I thought I’d send it to you too, although you may have already seen it. I’d love to hear your thoughts on what seems like it is a well-intention-ed push to help people.
