    If you missed this one, and actually many TV stations ran it too, a woman who’s denied payment on a $54,000 hospital bill due to her alcohol content at home when she tripped over a grand child’s sledding board. She was in her own home, not out driving and the health insurer stated that from her records at the hospital, she was legally drunk at home and they have a clause where they use and not pay. Anyone can trip and fall, alcohol or no alcohol is the question here.

    When you go to the UK, it might be interesting to see how much the use of Chatham House rules has increased as they are starting to use this here in the US, to where folks can contribute, but the origins of any contributions in groups is kept anonymous, business meetings.

    While we’re on the subject of current events, a recent story that has my attention is the Hanjin bankruptcy. It made me think of the proverbial butterfly flapping its wings—except Hanjin seems a lot more like an albatross than a butterfly. Brief summary here:
